MEET MELISSA HOWELL

Hi, everyone! I’m Melissa Howell, a licensed beauty professional, experienced stylist, salon leader, and proud business owner with more than two decades in the beauty industry.

My journey in beauty began in vocational high school, where I studied cosmetology and developed a passion for helping people look and feel their best. Since then, my career has taken me through three states and many different areas of the salon industry. In New York, I developed and served my own loyal clientele while gaining valuable experience working independently. After relocating to Virginia, I continued growing professionally as a stylist and salon manager. Each chapter of my career has strengthened not only my technical skills, but also my commitment to leadership, professionalism, education, and exceptional client care.

My experience includes precision haircuts, custom color, weaving, styling, updos, and services for both long and short hair. I remain committed to continuing education so I can offer current techniques, quality products, and services that support both beautiful results and healthy hair.

I created Ifanci Beauty Salon to provide more than a hair appointment. My vision is to offer a professional, welcoming, and elevated salon experience where every client feels heard, respected, and cared for. I take the time to understand each client’s lifestyle, preferences, and hair needs so that we can create a look that feels beautiful, manageable, and uniquely their own.
